Summer Orientation Recruitment

Attention Cardinals! We are looking for rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders to join Cardi Crew for Summer Orientation! Cardi Crew members will help welcome incoming 9th graders, support orientation activities, and help our newest Cardinals take their first flight into the nest.

Important dates are July 15th for Phone Call Day, July 28th for Prep Day, and July 29th for Summer Orientation.

If you are interested in being a leader and making a positive impact on our incoming freshmen, please complete the Google Form to show your commitment to being part of the team. We hope to see you this summer. Go Cardinals!

Grad Nite at Disney California Adventure!

On Wednesday, May 20th, our seniors attended Grad Nite at Disney California Adventure, celebrating their upcoming graduation with a night full of fun, memories, and excitement. Students had a great time enjoying the rides, attractions, and spending time together as they celebrated this special milestone with their classmates.

A huge thank you to all of the chaperones who helped make the evening possible and ensured our students had a safe and memorable experience. We would also like to extend a special thank you to the Hoover Foundation for sponsoring the trip and helping create an unforgettable night for our seniors.

What a great way to celebrate the Class of 2026 and make lasting memories together!

SABE End-of-Year Celebration

& Senior Stole Ceremony

On Friday, May 22nd, the SABE Academy celebrated the end of the 2025–2026 school year and recognized seniors during a special Stole Ceremony. The afternoon honored students for their hard work and achievements, including seniors who earned the Civic Seal of Engagement, graduated with honors, served as Student Advisory Board leaders, and participated in the ACE program. A special congratulations also went to Kally Tran, Hoover’s Valedictorian, for her outstanding accomplishment. The celebration also featured an end-of-year video created by Kirenia Huerta, showcasing memories and highlights from throughout the year, including photos of seniors from all four years at Hoover. SABE President Gabriella Salas shared meaningful reflections with her peers, celebrating the memories and experiences they created together. The event also recognized Pathway Completers — students who completed all three years of Engineering or Construction pathway courses with a C or better — with cords and certificates. The celebration concluded with seniors receiving their SABE stoles, honoring their hard work and journey through the academy. Congratulations to all on an incredible year!
