Our youth group, City Heights Youth Advocates is going to start up again in September 🤗. We're super excited to welcome our second cohort as we begin to tackle many exciting projects! Our program is designed to empower high school youth from City Heights through advocacy and leadership development. You'll find more details about our meetings in the attached flyer.
We offer various incentives, including community service hours, through our program. Many of our current participants are from Hoover, and we'd love to continue building that connection and engaging youth from this high school

Attention all students! If you need help to sign-up for a free Pronto Card/bus pass, you can get help at school on Thursday, August 17th and at Open House on September 17th. All you need is a photo ID (school ID).

MET Academy Races Into a New Era
MET Academy Races Into a New Era
Shout out to our MET (Media, Entertainment, & Technology) Academy for an awesome re-brand launch event! Formerly known as AOIT, MET kicked things off with Mario Kart battles and team-building competitions between grade levels. Seniors walked away with the trophy, but every grade showed up with amazing energy— whether competing or cheering on their peers. A huge thank you to the MET teachers, especially Director Ms. Towers, for all the planning and hard work that made this launch such a success. Students had a blast, and some even scored brand-new MET merch. Way to start the year strong, MET!
