Every successful blood donation saves up to 3 lives, so please use this opportunity to make a direct impact on our community! The general guidelines are that you need to be 17 years or older, and weight at least 110 lbs. Sign up online with the QR code, and turn in your permission slip to Mr. Pores in room 152.

A Night Within the Pages Prom 2026

Prom 2026 “A Night Within the Pages” truly came to life with an unforgettable evening filled with music, laughter, and incredible memories. From the high-energy DJ and fun-filled photo booth to the unique touch of tattoo artists, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Add in the stunning views of the Padres game and the Coronado Bridge, and it was a night straight out of a storybook.

Congratulations to our Prom King Austin and Queen Chanel—you made the night even more special! And a huge thank you to all the staff who showed up to support, supervise, and help create such a safe and memorable experience.

2026 CCTE Showcase

Shoutout to our incredible Hoover Cardinals for shining at the SDUSD CCTE Innovation Showcase! At this district-wide event, students presented real-world, project-based work that tackles community challenges and builds career-ready skills. We’re especially proud of our Hoover students who represented with purpose and impact:

Culinary Arts students who helped cater the event and showcase their industry skills
Restorative Justice YPAR students elevating youth voice and community change
SABE students applying sustainability, design, and engineering to real-world problems with thier Little Free Libraies, Guitars, and Tiny Homes
Cross-academy Zen Zone team (AHHC, MET & SABE), WINNERS of “Greatest Student Impact”!
