2026 San Diego Unified Honors Theater Project at UCSD's WOW Festival
Come and see our advanced theater students perform in the 2026 District Honors Theater Project at UCSD's WOW Festival on Saturday April 25th and Sunday April 26th at 1:00 pm. Our students created this original work in collaboration with students from Patrick Henry and Morse High Schools. This is a free event titled: "Fool's Gold: A trickster Review". We hope you can make it!

MET Juniors Win 9th Circuit Civics Award
Christian Hwong, Joel Vargas, and Gerardo Pelaez won the 2026 Ninth Circuit Civics Contest on “LIFE, LIBERTY AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS - Your Voice. Your Story. Your America”. The award will be presented on June 15, 2026, at Federal Court Building with a cash prize of $2,000

Hoover High School would like to celebrate ALL seniors at Hoover High School making the commitment to go to college! College Signing Day at Hoover High School, will be held on Monday, May 4 during 4th period from 2:05pm to 3:35pm. in the PAC. This event is to recognize seniors who have been admitted and have made the commitment to enrolling in college. (Community College, Trade School, CSUs, UCs, Private Universities, Out of State and Military)
First 100 students to RSVP will receive a HOOVER ALUMNI Cinch Bag and treat!
