UPCOMING EVENTS
SHOUT OUTS
This past Friday, March 6th, Hoover proudly hosted our first Mariachi Festival, bringing together students, families, and community members for an evening filled with music, culture, and celebration. Guests brought their picnic blankets, settled in, and enjoyed incredible performances throughout the evening.
The festival featured amazing performances by Hoover’s Mariachi Cardenal, Bell Middle School’s Mariachi Campana, Mariachi Orgullo Nacional, Montgomery High School’s Mariachi Azteca, Montgomery Middle School’s Mariachi Griego, Mariachi Nuevo Aguadule, Mariachi Cali, and Mariachi Continental San Diego. Each group brought energy, talent, and tradition to the stage, making it a memorable night for everyone in attendance.
Thank you as well to the many student groups who supported the event by selling concessions, including the Classes of 2026, 2027, and 2029, the Cesar Chavez Club, and the Drama Club.
What a wonderful way to celebrate music, culture, and community here at Hoover!
