ABOUT the PLAY: This is a fable filled with humor, mysticism and music that tells the story of Miguel, who lives in a Central American country of conflict and war. When his parents disappear, Miguel loses his voice and must flee North to the City of Los Angeles. Along his journey, he meets various characters of Mexican mythology and develops a friendship with La Llorona who helps him to find his voice, and the courage to cross the border to a new life...

On January 25, 2025, our talented mariachi group had the incredible opportunity to perform alongside the San Diego Youth Symphony. This collaboration was a remarkable experience for our students, showcasing their dedication, passion, and hard work. It was truly inspiring to see them share the stage with such a prestigious ensemble, blending the beauty of mariachi music with symphonic elements. Check out the performance here.
