UPCOMING EVENTS
SHOUT OUTS
Last Friday, we proudly announced our Teacher and Staff of the Year! Please join us in congratulating Ms. Savino, our Teacher of the Year, for her outstanding dedication to our students and school community. And if you see our Community Schools Coordinator, Ms. Roya, be sure to congratulate her as well on being named Staff Member of the Year! We are so grateful for the passion, commitment, and care they bring to Hoover every day. Thank you both for all that you do!
On Thursday, Hoover’s Unified Sports program proudly hosted a basketball tournament, welcoming fellow Unified Sports teams from Patrick Henry, Clairemont, and La Jolla High Schools. The day was filled with competition, teamwork, and school spirit as all four schools took to the court to support one another and celebrate inclusive athletics. Unified Sports brings together our ESN Students to compete on the same teams, promoting inclusion, respect, leadership, and friendship through sports. The program creates meaningful opportunities for all students to belong, lead, and shine. Thank you to everyone who helped make this tournament a positive and powerful experience for our students!
