AP Registration is now open; the deadline is November 1st. The exam is free for students enrolled in the AP course. Students doing exam only option (not enrolled in the course) must fill out the Exam Only form and pay a $10 fee before October 21. Payments can be made at the financial office before school, during lunch, and after school. All students must register on the CollegeBoard website and complete all steps before the deadline. Any changes after the November 1st deadline will incur fees. Please visit the AP Exam website for more information on registering and fees.

The Step Up Program at Hoover High School helps juniors and seniors prepare for college through leadership development, mentoring, and community service opportunities. Students can apply by completing the Step Up application form on linktr.ee/stepupsdsu , or by emailing StepUpSDSU@gmail.com for more information. Join Step Up and take the next step toward your future.
Get involved and make a difference by creating a PSA or poster for the Break Free, Breathe Free Anti-Vaping Contest. Create a short video or poster about the dangers of vaping or drugs and share healthy choices for your peers. Entries are due Dec. 19 – there are cash prizes for winning entries. Young Womxn's Studies Club is a safe space to learn about feminism and social justice. Topics include: youth activism, LGBTQ & identity, reproductive justice, disability justice, radical self love, and more! Weekly meetings are held during lunch in room 358. All are welcome!

Huge congratulations to our Hoover Varsity Football Team on their thrilling 30–28 playoff win over Escondido! The Cardinals played with heart, grit, and determination from start to finish. Next up — the team hits the road to take on Sweetwater High School on Friday, November 14 at 7 PM. Let’s pack the stands and show our Cardinal pride!
This Wednesday, we hosted a special Hoover Market — and it was one for the books! We were joined by special guests, the SDSU Men’s Basketball Team, who lent a helping hand with market distribution. It was a busy and joyful day, with many students and community members stopping by to take part. A huge thank-you to Feeding San Diego for their generous support in making these distributions possible. Together, we continue to make a difference for our Hoover community!
