UPCOMING EVENTS
SHOUT OUTS
A huge shout-out to our Council of Athlete Leaders (CAL) for hosting a Staff vs. Student Volleyball Match this past Friday, October 17th during lunch in the Big Gym! The energy was amazing as staff and students went head-to-head in a fun, competitive match that had the whole crowd cheering. Thank you to all the staff who came out to play and support—your participation helped build stronger connections and showed our students what school spirit and community are all about. What a great way to promote belonging and end the week on a high note! 🏐👏
I wanted to shout out my 4th period students and their unparalleled prowess in kite flying! They were able to utilize symbolism from The Kite Runner to make meaning and design their kites! They symbolically flew kites as a united demonstration to speak out against the banning of kite flying in Afghanistan. It was enlightening to watch their utter joy and excitement in learning a new skill.
