Our PE class is structured around the California State Standards. Our goal is to strive to become physically literate.
Physical literacy is the motivation, confidence, knowledge, and understanding to value and take responsibility for engagement in physical activities for life.
Our curriculum will vary each day including activities that focus on motor skills, rhythmic skills, body management, fitness concepts, and self-responsibility.
Activities will include high intensity interval workouts, stretch and relaxation, running, various sports, fitness testing, and goal setting.
Physical Education is more important than ever to offset the time we spend sitting at a computer, to help manage our stress levels, and to have some fun!
