Our Learning Process
Our Learning Process
We began our learning process by thinking about any prior knowledge we had about the sun, moon, stars, constellations, black holes, and the Milky Way. We participated in whole group collaborative discussions where we listened to others ideas and knowledge. This began the spark of curiosity.
We began our learning process by thinking about any prior knowledge we had about the sun, moon, stars, constellations, black holes, and the Milky Way. We participated in whole group collaborative discussions where we listened to others ideas and knowledge. This began the spark of curiosity.
Next, we were able to "wonder" about our Science theme. For example many wondered why some places on Earth were warmer than others, why the moon had light, why the stars didn't shine during the daytime, what were constellations, and why the moon changes shape.

These "wonderings" were turned into a starting point for the exploration of phenomena. Questions began to be investigated and we started the process of scientific work.
