Clever (Use for PowerSchool, Canvas, Amplify, NRI, BrainPop, and Lexia's PowerUp):

BOOKMARK this page. If you don't know how to bookmark, ask a partner or teacher.
Once in, log in with your Active Directory ID and Password (same as your computer one)
Once in Clever, you can see Amplify, BrainPop, Lexia, and more. This is one good way to log into these programs. If you log in to these programs without using Clever and/or with a different username or password, you may not see your assignments.
This is where students check their grades and see which teacher assigned the work. If the assignment has a zero, it has been graded. If it is blank, it has not been graded
This portal is where most assignments are submitted.
Lexia PowerUp:
You may access this reading program through Clever. Use this video for more directions. Here is a video that shows you how you can check your units that you completed by the day or week.
Amplify:
You may access this program in Clever for free digital books. Search the library by genre or Lexile level. Use this video for more directions.

CommonLit:
Sign-up at www.commonlit.org (Each period has its OWN code. Please see below for your code for your class.) USE YOUR STU.SANDI.NET EMAIL TO SIGN UP. If you have ever made an account with CommonLit with that email and don't remember your password, click "Forgot Password" and an email will be sent to you. Here is a video showing you how to sign up for an account. IF you receive a message after trying to sign up that the email (sandi.net email) already is assigned to a CommonLit account, please follow the directions in this video.

If you are assigned to annotate the text with highlighting and notes, please remember that once you submit your assignment, you cannot redo your annotations without redoing your entire assignment. Here is a video tutorial of how to highlight and annotate your CommonLit text.
Padlet:
This is a good place for us to brainstorm and share together. Padlet.com (Here is a video of directions to sign up for Padlet.) Use your imiddlesd email to sign up. Be sure to CHANGE your profile name to your first and last name. Here is a video to show you how to do this.
Scope Magazine:
This is a place where we sometimes read online articles and paired texts. For a tutorial video on how to access articles, click HERE. Sign in as a student and use the password Innovation.
Grammarly:
Grammarly is a great tool to help you with your grammar in your writing. Please add it to your browser. Here is a tutorial video to show you how to add it to your Chrome browser.
NoRedInk:
Students can sign into NoRedInk through Clever. This website offers exercises to improve grammar and writing skills. Students can independently search topics that they would like to target for improvement.
BrainPOP
This website can be accessed through Clever. It offers support in grammar, reading, and writing topics.
