Use the SCRATCH website - Don't Log In

Have students:

1. Click on the starter code link for the day's project. This will open the project on the Scratch website.

2. Do NOT have students login. In the top right corner it should say "Join Scratch" and "Sign In". Students should not click those.

3. When students are ready to explore and modify the project, they should click on "See Inside".

4. When students need to stop (e.g. when they need to close their computer), to save their work, they should select File -> Save to your computer in the top left.

5. Have students note/write down where (what folder) their project is saved (often, it is saved to "Downloads").

6. If students want to work on the project more, they should go to the Scratch website, click on Create in the upper left, then select File -> Load from your computer, and select the file they most recently saved to their computer (step 4).
