Counselors are available for students on a drop-in basis before school, at lunch, and after school. If a student would like to speak with a Counselor during class time, they must request permission from their teacher first and the student is responsible for any missed work.
Parents may make an appointment to see their student's Counselor by contacting the Counselor by phone or email. We would prefer that your student attend the appointment with you; however, we realize there may be times when you want to meet with us privately.
The classroom teacher should always be your primary point of contact at Crawford High School about your student's grade. A student struggling to understand concepts should check with their teachers to see when they offer tutoring. The teacher is the main person who sees the student engaged in the subject matter daily. Teachers are adept at the areas a student should concentrate on to improve performance in class.
Teachers' voicemail extensions and email addresses can be found on the school website Teacher tab or by calling the school's phone operator at 619-362-3700 during school hours. Teachers are also available through email and are often able to respond to you more efficiently this way.
PowerSchool allows Families to access assignments, test scores, grades, and attendance information online. We recommend you check PowerSchool regularly. For PowerSchool support, please contact dbarajas@sandi.net.
If you have additional concerns or would like to talk to your Counselor, please make an appointment or email. The Counselors are happy to assist you in reaching your academic and personal goals.
