Q: Is there a Graduation walk through?
A: Yes and it is mandatory, Graduation Walk through Rehearsal
Tuesday, June 13, 9 am @ CHS Gymnasium followed by Senior Breakfast and then Cap and Gown distribution in The Auditorium
All seniors participating in the Graduation Ceremony at Clairemont High School are required to attend this Rehearsal event.
Q: How do I order my Cap and Gown?
A: Through Jostens. Order Here Caps and Gowns, along with all of the best Senior Swag can be found on their website
Q: Do I have to buy a cap and gown?
A: No, you may always choose the rental (free) option, also available on the site. You must still go to the site and fill out your information, in order to borrow a gown. You do not need to worry about the color of the gown. Ms. Fulton works directly with Jostens at the end of the year to ensure that every student has the correct color.

Date: June 13th CHS Theatre foyer- 11:30 am- 12:30 pm
On this day, Josten’s and Ms. Fulton will be on campus at Clairemont to distribute Caps & Gowns to all seniors. Seniors can pick up their pre-ordered cap and gown. If you cannot make this time/date please arrange a pick-up time with Ms. Fulton.
***PLEASE NOTE: Receiving a cap and gown on this day does not guarantee students will be walking in the commencement ceremony. Participation in commencement is contingent upon final grades, final GPA, completion of high school graduation requirements, as well as a clean behavior record for the remainder of the school year.
Q: Where do I return my borrowed cap and gown?

Thursday, June 15 - 9:30 am - 11:30 pm in front of the CHS Auditorium
Students will need to return to campus on Thursday, June 15th to return their Academy Sash and any borrowed caps and gowns. Once these items have been returned, students will pick up their diploma.
Q: When do I receive my Diploma?

Thursday, June 15 - 9:30 am - 12:30 pm in front of the CHS Auditorium
In order to pick up your official diploma, the above steps (return materials, return rented/borrowed caps and gowns and complete senior survey) must be completed first. All seniors need to pick up their official diploma on campus on June 15 as official diplomas are not given out at Graduation. Students will only be issued one diploma and must sign for it when they pick it up.
Q: Can I decorate my graduation cap?
A: You can decorate your graduation cap if you purchased your cap. If you did not purchase your cap you cannot decorate it.
Q: Is there going to be a prom?
A: June 3rd The El Cortez Hotel from 6 pm - 10 pm. Tickets will be sold for $90 each beginning late spring (tbd) Underclassmen may attend if they are the guest/date of a senior. They may not purchase tickets on their own. They need to be with their Senior when purchasing.
Contracts, once filled out, need to be turned in to Ms Fulton. Once admin approves them, they will be outside of Ms. Fulton's office ready for pick up. Grab it and take it to Ms. Smith (Finance Office) to pay for the ticket.

A: CHS Counseling presents Senior Awards Night June 1 @ 5 pm, n the CHS Theatre * refreshments will be served

10:30 am All Seniors are invited to a Senior Send-Off Breakfast and yearbook signing event. This event will take place just outside of Room 308 in the lawn.
Q: Will there be a Grad Nite?
A: Yes, Sunday May 21st at 8 am, buses will be rolling to Disneyland!!!

Q: When do I get my diploma?
A: We will be asking students to come to CHS on June 15th from 9:30 -12:30 outside of the CHS Auditorium

All graduating seniors must complete our online Clairemont High School 2023 Exit Survey. This important survey will take Seniors about 15 minutes to complete.
Q: Where do I bring my books and computer?
A: Ms. Manning is encouraging Seniors to start bringing back any books, textbooks, or chrome books that are no longer needed at this time
Senior Check Out / Materials Return
Thursday, June 8 - Friday, June 9 During School Hours
Before the end of the day on Friday, June 9th, all Seniors must complete the check out sheet. Copies of the Check-Out Sheet can be picked up in the Front Office, from a Counselor or Administrator, or in the Library. In order to receive their cap and gown on Tuesday, June 13th, Seniors will need to ensure that the Check-Out Sheet has been signed by the appropriate CHS staff and all items below have been completed.

a: Yes, every team will appoint a Team Parent to organize these. Emails will go out to parents asking for photos

Q: I got into College or University, who should I tell? I accepted, should I relay this as well?
A: Mr. Ramirez has sent out a survey to all seniors please list all college acceptances, and then where you have decided to go. Congratulations, we would like to properly honor you at Graduation. Survey to be released by Counseling mid March.

Q: I ordered announcements, when can I pick them up?
A: The first orders of announcements came in and were distributed. If you ordered later I will send to students when they come in If you cannot make it please reach out to Ms. Fulton hfulton@sandi.net She will have them in her office. Items must be checked out with her, please do not help yourself:)
Q: Is yearbook accepting Senior baby photos, yearbook quotes, standout nominations?
A: These deadlines have passed. Senior ads are still for sale though Yearbook Info Here
Q: How do I take my Senior Photos?
A: Prestige is our official Senior Portrait Photographer please book an in studio appointment.
Yearbook deadline was Nov 1st. Your only option now is Mr. Jimenez taking a head shot. Please see him to schedule this.
Some students have chosen not to be in the yearbook, their names will still be in the book and show as "not-photographed"
Q: Can I just use my own photographer?
A: Not for yearbook pictures, which is why we have offered numerous options with Prestige. **You may of course take pictures with another photographer if you are making your own announcements however, these phots will not be in the yearbook.
