That constant hum of worry? It’s exhausting.
Living with anxiety can feel like your mind never powers down. Maybe you’re constantly bracing for what could go wrong, overthinking every decision, or battling an inner voice that never lets up. The what-ifs are loud. The self-doubt, relentless. And even when things are “fine,” your body feels like it didn’t get the message.
Anxiety isn’t just in your head—it lives in your body, your breath, your sleep, your relationships. It can show up as perfectionism, irritability, people-pleasing, control, or avoidance. And sometimes, it convinces you that this is just how you are.
But it doesn’t have to stay that way.
In therapy, we’ll slow things down and gently untangle the patterns that keep anxiety running the show. You’ll learn to respond to anxious thoughts with curiosity instead of fear, and develop practical tools to soothe your nervous system. I integrate cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy, and self-compassion, along with other treatment modalities, to help you build a steadier inner foundation—without pushing past your limits.
Whether you’re feeling on edge, shut down, or somewhere in between, you deserve a space where your anxiety can be met with understanding, not shame. Together, we’ll work to help you feel more grounded, more capable, and more like yourself.
You’re doing everything you can—but it still feels heavy.
Depression isn’t just sadness. It’s the fog, the flatness, the weight in your bones when you try to get out of bed. It’s going through the motions when nothing feels meaningful. It’s struggling to show up for yourself, let alone others—then feeling guilty about that, too.
Maybe you’ve been feeling numb, disconnected, or constantly exhausted. Maybe things that used to bring joy just… don’t anymore. And while part of you wants things to change, another part wonders if you even have the energy to try.
Therapy offers a space to bring all of that—without having to pretend you’re okay.
Together, we’ll explore what’s been weighing on you and begin reconnecting you to your own needs, values, and voice. I integrate person-centered care with evidence-based tools like cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness, and self-compassion, along with other treatment modalities, work to help you move at your own pace. There’s no rush. No pressure. Just a steady place to land while you find your way forward.
You are not lazy. You are not broken. You’re surviving—and you don’t have to do it alone.
You’re safe now—but your body hasn’t caught up.
Trauma doesn’t always look like flashbacks or nightmares. Sometimes it shows up in unexpected ways—chronic anxiety, difficulty trusting, irritability, dissociation, people-pleasing, or feeling “stuck” in patterns you don’t fully understand. Maybe you’re constantly scanning for danger, avoiding certain memories or people, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others.
These are normal responses to experiences that were not safe, fair, or okay.
In trauma therapy, we focus on restoring safety—not by retelling every detail, but by slowly helping your nervous system unwind the fear it’s been holding onto. We’ll work together to identify triggers, set boundaries, and gently build back a sense of trust in yourself. I draw from trauma-informed, somatic, and relational approaches, including mindfulness, internal family systems (IFS-informed), and polyvagal theory, along with other treatment modalities.
Healing from trauma doesn’t mean forgetting what happened. It means building a life that feels more like yours—and reconnecting with the parts of you that never stopped hoping for peace.
