Year 1

Year 1 Aims:

• 1^st Year students are proficient with use of Google Apps For Education platform. Students are able to create, edit, share and collaborate on documents, slides (presentations), sites (website creation) and forms. Students have used these resources to complete at least 5-10 parts of their portfolio.
• Students have completed a reflective assessment of their experience of using a portfolio to date and their wishes for the future.
• Some samples of work have been shared between schools.
• PE: Students will be expected to successfully gather and present data (charts, graphs, tables), critique performance, appreciate technique, and deliver feedback. We aim to move from a teacher led approach to a more student centred guided discovery methodology
• 2nd year students are comfortable with use of gSuite and the possible use of iPads in language learning.
• Students have developed new ways of reflecting and recording their work.
