the assignment involved creating a pencil holder the pen and pencil holder should contain at least 2 compartments, with at least one of them closed with 4 faces, to hold different stationary items (For example, a compartment for pens and the other for sticky notes or paper clips)

I use google to search for design idea .
fusion 360
to make the designs for the pen and pencil holder .
RDworks software
create and control the operation of laser cutting .
screws and nuts to join the sides and button together .
Laser Cutting machine
for cutting the wood .

yes , I asked the instructors for help , they give me sme advices about joint and how to make circular pattern on fusion 360 .

Yes, I asked my instructor and tell me how to make circular pattern and how to make fully defined to my design it was very difficult for me , but they help me and I did it .

In this week I made some designs on fusion 360 ,
Also we made mobile holder with cardboard it was funny thing .
we also create a laser cutting design in the lab ( we Design, fabricate, and assemble a Lantern that has 4 sides, top, and bottom.
