I found this cute pen & phone holder on pinterest.com , then i found a pattern on 3axis.co
so i tought of what if i mixed these two togther to add a more decorative side to it.
We Used "Laser Cad" software, and El Malky ML64 "Laser-Cutter" machine to print with And we print on a "3mm plywood" sheet.

Made a new file
Then made New components
Started sketching the side part
Then sketching the other parts by using "project/include" Tool
Then inserted the parttern that i found on " 3axis.co" on the front side
Extruded all the parts and joint it
Started the project by, making new components
made to every side a component

Then Added the pattern on the place i wanted
Extruded all the parts
used the " joint" tool to joint all the part togther
finally added " M3 screw" and "M3 nut"
Then changed the appearance so i can imagine how it's gonna look like
Then Exported all the parts as "Dxf" By Using "DXF for Laser Cutting"
imported the file into "Laser Cad"
"I set the right parameters to each line and Adjust the speed and power
(cut: 10 speed, 65 Power / Speed Cut : 200 Speed ,50 Power)
Then i exported the file as "Ai" Format.
copy your file as "Al" format to the machine and select it .
Put the plywood sheet.
make sure that the plywood sheet is not warped ( and if it's you can hold it with a holder and stuck it to the machine) .
Adjust the focal length.
Choose the place you want to print by.
set the origin .
Click on "box" to detect the size and make sure that the design fits .
Click on "start" to cut.
Exported the file as "dxf" using "DXF for laser cutting"
Imported all the parts in "Laser Cad"
selected the :Mode,Speed And Power then Exported the File As "Ai" Format
