LumiSpiral (smart lamp)
The idea is to design a smart lamp with a simple, smooth, and modern spiral shape. The goal is to combine aesthetic design with functional technology, making it easy to use and visually appealing.
The lamp has:
A central touch button divided into two halves—this is used to turn the lamp on and off and switch between three light modes: cold light, warm light, and a mixed mode.
A secondary touch button on the edge to adjust the light intensity, giving users control over brightness.
A built-in USB charging, making it convenient for portable use or recharging.
I care about this idea because I believe smart devices should be both elegant and practical, especially for users who want to create a calming atmosphere at home or in workspaces. The spiral shape symbolizes creativity and energy flow, which adds an artistic touch to the product.
Inspirations:
I was inspired by modern minimalist lamps like this spiral LED lamp and smart lighting solutions by companies like Xiaomi .
I also looked at user-friendly touch lamps and sleek product design examples on Pinterest.
This was my first time designing something like this, and it was an exciting and inspiring experience.
