The Butterfly Messenger Bot
(Giftly)
A smart, remote-controlled ground robot inspired by butterflies .
that's why I named my bot ( Giftly ) , a sweet and playful name that combines the words “gift” and “butterfly.” It reflects the bot’s two main purposes:

The Butterfly Messenger Bot is a walking, rolling robot designed to deliver small gifts or notes in a creative and heartwarming way. It doesn't fly, but it gently moves using wheels and flaps its decorative wings, all controlled remotely. A small box in its center can be opened or closed via remote control, making it perfect for surprises, messages, or special deliveries.
Even though it doesn't fly, this robot is built to move smoothly on flat surfaces like floors, garden paths, or tabletops. Its wings flap to mimic a butterfly’s motion, giving it a magical and charming appearance. The bot can be powered by a rechargeable battery .
🌱 My Inspiration:
I was inspired by the beauty and lightness of real butterflies. They symbolize joy, transformation, and nature’s wonder. I wanted to bring that feeling into a smart and useful robot, something more than a toy. Watching other robot designs that move like insects or animals made me think
Why not create a butterfly on wheels that brings happiness and delivers something meaningful?
This bot is not just a robot. It’s a messenger of joy.
My project is a Butterfly Car a small robotic car with colorful butterfly wings. It moves on wheels and is controlled by Bluetooth through a remote or phone. The wings are decorated with colored LED lights, and they move when the car senses sound, like clapping or speaking.
The car also carries a gift box on its back. This box can open and close automatically when a person touches the door, using a touch sensor.
It is powered by a rechargeable battery, making it portable and easy to use anywhere.
The car combines art, technology, and emotion it looks beautiful, moves like a toy, and delivers a surprise.
Moves on wheels via Bluetooth remote

Sound sensor makes the wings flap and lightning when it hears a sound.
LED lights glow in different colors.
When someone touches the gift box door, it opens to show the gift.
Construction Parts
Chassis & Body: Designed using CAD software, fabricated with laser cutting and 3D printing.
Wheels & Motor System: DC motors with gear for smooth movement.
Butterfly Wings: Lightweight plastic or acrylic with colored LED strips.
Gift Box: Small 3D-printed or laser-cut box with a touch-sensitive door.

Ultrasonic Sensor: Detects Someone to flap the wings and light the led .
Touch Sensor: Opens the gift box when touched.
Bluetooth Module: Receives movement commands from a mobile app or remote control.

Movement: Motors rotate wheels to move forward, backward, left, and right.
Wing Flapping: Servo motors move the wings when the Ultrasonic sensor is detected.
LED Lighting: LEDs on wings light up in patterns for decoration.
Gift Delivery: Touch sensor activates servo to open the gift box door.
Brain
Microcontroller: Arduino Nano or Arduino Uno processes all sensor inputs and sends commands to motors, LEDs, and servos.
Bluetooth Control Logic: Receives and processes control signals from the app.
Power Management
Battery: Powers the microcontroller, sensors, LEDs, and motors.
Voltage Regulator: Ensures stable power supply for all modules.
