First let's start with 2D laser cutting
Hogwarts map
As any fan for harry potter and Hogwarts كان لازم ولابد وحتما نبدأ بيه الأول.
Hi Hi!! Lemme break it down for you, what this thing is 💁🏻♀️
this map is the Hogwarts map (the school and the area around, and as it known the school is the safest part at that world.

so, if I told you that feeling safe and being at peace in the workplace life is when it comes to the end of tasks 😎
at first while searching on 3axis,
I use the CorelDraw program to convert the format to a DXF File,
then, I needed AutoCAD program to edit some details,
at last, RDworks program to prepare the file for cutting.

for the machine:
El Malky ML149 CO₂ Laser Cutter for cutting, and 3mm plywood as the material—it’s sturdy, clean to cut, and perfect for detailed designs.

at first while searching on 3axis, the only file I wanted was found as CDR File and this format cannot be edited with RDWorks or even Autocad.
so, I had to use the CorelDraw program to open the file and transform the format to a DXF File.

Then at the next step we need to remove some lines and add other details for or map,
so, I needed to do this on AutoCAD program.

Removing somelines using Autocad
finally, open our one the RDworks program to edit the scale, define the colors of lines and set the power and other things.
Rdworks
Using coreldraw:
transform the design from CDR to DXF File.
Using CAD:
Using the polyline tool and blendcurves to add lines and the trim tool + deleting to remove other lines.

After Edit
preparing the file using RDworks
scale the dimensions (frame 28*24 cm).
Define the line colors:
black color: for cutting with 45 for power and 40 for speed
red color: for speed cut with 15 for power and 350 for speed

Define Parameters: Set the desired power and speed settings for the machine.
Prepare the Material: Place the material securely into the machine.
Select the File:
Navigate to the Files section.
Choose the appropriate file name.
Set Origin and Frame: Designate the origin point and adjust the frame as needed.
Close the Machine Cover: Ensure the cover is properly secured before starting.
Begin the Process: Initiate the machine to start the operation.
it took me 2:30 minutes.
so here is our task mappp
Now it's 3D printing turn.
This planet is boring🥴, let's go chill on the moon for a bit!
so, I'm a bit interested about the moon that is why i wanted to make this keychain.
"Astronaut on the moon"
astromoon
First, I used Thingiverse web for searching for the file in stl format.
then, Ultimaker Cura to scale the model, prepare and slice it.
finally, Creality Ender 3 Pro to print it, and PLA filament as the material.

Editing scale
After downloading the file in stl format, I opened the cura program to scale it to be a keychain in 2*3cm.

Then, I edited the support and layer Hight:
layer hight: 0.1 mm to make it smoother.
Support: i chose the buildBlate support
infill: grid infill 0.2mm

print settings
As you can see in the previous screen, I did not add a priming layer (adhesion) to stabilize the model on the print bed. Due to the slight scaling adjustments, the "Astro" detached from the bed during printing and stuck to the extruder nozzle (the part where the material is released)
to resolve this, I adjusted the settings and reprinted the model with Added a priming layer (adhesion) to ensure proper bed adhesion.

final one is survived! wohoooooow

Adding some colors
prim is important thing if the model is a tiny and light thing ياعم متقلقش مش هتزود وقت ف الطباعة هي دقيقة
