helloooo everyone, My name is John Ashraf or you could call me jinjin and this is my journal 🌝.

- Background: I am an Electrical Engineer, I love tinkering and  figuring out how things work, my moto is:
"It doesn't matter if it might explode or it will, it would still be fun to mess with 🥳".
I have knowledge if various fields like  electronics, web development and cyber security but I am no master in any of  them.

- Enough ranting about backgrounds 🍒, my hobbies include gaming with friends, building unnecessary fun projects and hanging out with friends.

- I joined maker diploma to learn more about 3D manufacturing and meet new people and make new friends ❤️.

During summer of 2023, electricity went out more than usual where I live. Sitting with nothing to do I decided to try and make a UPS that would stay on for at least 4-hours during blackouts.

I learned a lot through prototyping and failing and trying new things till i reached a final circuit that uses a MOSFET to switch between wall adapter and a battery pack, the switch was quick enough that the Modem Router stays on and no packet is dropped.

Everything took around 4-6 months from prototyping to final product. I gave some of the extra boards I made to my friends and no fires (Which I am to blame for) yet thankfully.
