IDEATION
Wanted to make a design with different depths so that each container can be storage for different stationary items.
It has to compartments, one for pens and pencils and the other is shallower so it can be a tray for clips and sticky notes.
Fusion 360
Save the file, created a new component then started drawing the base with the slots that will be attach all the sides.
Extruding the base and locking it as ground.
joints used: T-slot and x-slots for corners.
Starting a new component for the sides and using project tool to guide as I draw them.
Extruding, joining then copying it to the other side.
Types of connections used: X-Slots and T-Slots
Repeating the same steps for the front and middle panels
Adding wood appearance to each component.
Exporting each part as for laser cutting as DXF
then importing in Laserworks

4 M3 Screws and nuts for connections.
After the first export there was a couple of errors, the marked part wasn't extruded properly so there was slot messing
By edit feature for the extrusion of this part in fusion360 it was fixed.
