IDEATION
My Inspiration for this assignment is Origami art and low-poly designs and how an object can be stripped down to its simplest form and still be recognizable.
Downloading STL file and preparing Gcode file for 3D printing using Ultimaker Cura
After importing the STL file, the orientation wasn't correct and the yellow/gray lines meant the object was too big and exceeding the space.
So I scaled it to more suitable size and corrected the orientation using (Select Face) alignment tool then exported Gcode file.
After visiting the lab and confirming the parameters with the lab specialist, we changed the printer to Prusa i3 Mk3/Mk3s which changed the resolution into fine 1.15 mm and increased the time to 30 mins instead of 21 but didn't change the amount of grams so i decided to continue with the new parameters to get better quality and with no support

Downloading DXL file and preparing RLD file for the Laser Cutting machine using Laserwork
All the shape will be in Cut mode, so speed is set to 30.0 and power to 60.0.
Then Save As (rld.)
Transfering the rld file to the computer connected to the laser cutting machine and checking the parameters, downloading to the machine and deciding the origin point and frame before starting the process

For 3D printing: Ultimaker Cura, Prusa i3 Mk3/Mk3s, PLA
For laser cutting, Laserwork, Malky Laser Cutter, Plywood.
After importing the STL file, the orientation wasn't correct, and there were yellow/gray lines which I realized after searching meant that the object was too big and exceeding the space.
