I have a lot of Colored pens and I always struggle to organize them on my desk so that it is easy to choose a Color later, so I decided to create a design that takes into account displaying the pens in a clear way that is easy to choose from later.

Laser Cutting
1st I tried to draw the shape on Fusion without any previous experience and it worked.
Steps are as follow:
1
I started with the base surface and used the rectangular pattern to make the circles for the pens.
2
Then I copied the basic surface without the semicircle in the middle to make the middle surface with some minor adjustments to the dimensions.
3
Then I drew the side and made a rectangular hole to fix the middle surface in and made a copy for the other side.
4
Then I drew the front face and made sure that the middle face was shorter so that it would be easier to put things in it.
5
I drew the dividing surface of the front area with the dimensions shown in the picture.
6
Finally, I drew the floor, and used projection to make drawing easier.
3rd I saved the file as "ai".
4th I downloaded the file to the machine, and it printed it..
Laser Cutting ( El Malky ML149 CO2 Laser Cutter )
How I used it?
1) Make sure that the file you're printing is yours. 2) Put your plywood sheet.
3) Put the magical tool that holds your sheet. 4) Adjust the focal length.
5) Choose the place you want to print by using arrows. 6) Make it the origin point.
7) Click on "frame" to detect the size. 8) Click on "start" to cut.

I had trouble aligning the screw circle with the nut in the T slot but after reviewing the joints and projection lesson I learned how to do it easily.
Fix the base so it doesn't move (Ground) .
Design each part as a separate component.
Thinking better about the sketch on which you will build the rest of the model.
