inspiration
I got inspired by those pitures.
and i sketch my design then i got this design which covers the requirments .
programs:
-laser cutting i use laser work.
-3D printing i use cura Ultimaker.
-fusion 360 for making my design sketch.
material:
-laser cutting i use plywood material.
-3D printing i use poly lactic acid.
-3M polt and nut
machines:
-lasrer cutting machine.
-brusa 3d printer.
plywood
PLA plastic

fusion 360
i used fusion360 to draw all parts o the model i make sure the sketches are fully defined.
the model consists of two main components:
1.pencil holder .
2.mobile holder.
the two components attached together at the same ground part.
i used joint at fusion to connect all parts together to make sure it will work together before fabrication step.
the parts of each component:
pencil holder: 4 sides jointed by cross slots, the 4 sides is connected with the ground by t-slot and captive nut .
mobile holder: panel, tip the panel is connected with ground by bracket and the tip is connected with ground by finger joint.
bracket:i used extrude at fusion to convert my sketch to a 3d design because this part will be printed by 3d printer.
after jointing the parts i converted all parts expect the "bracket" part to dxf. files to be ready for laser cut process, the bracket part i make a .stl file to be ready for 3d printing.
LASRE CUT process
i imported the file in the laser work program, adjusted just beside the origin.
I modified the design based on the power and speed ..
where:
For cutting: speed: 30 mm/sec Power: 55%
i download the file at the machine, set the focus and test the frame work for the machine and give it the order to work.
3D PRINTING
i upload the "3d design" file which i download from " thingiverse" website, then, the files were imported at CURA software, placed as wanted.
layer thickness was selected by 0.15, infill is 80% without support,
also the printing temperature is adjusted on 215 degree.
After that the file had been sliced, giving the final time 16min and 2g.
i don not use any adhesion so my bracket moved at the machine plate which cause a little failure at the corner, also there was a hole forgotten by me at the sketch, sooo
i print it again with new modifications at cura setting and at the sketch.
making the hole project with joint order at fusion will help to modify my final project and make sure all parts will work well together before fabrication step.
the coolest thing was the moment i get all parts together by bolts and nuts after fabrication step.
