daily calendar
pen holder
The inspiration for the project was from these pictures, which is that I wanted to make a pen container with a daily calendar next to it, but a calendar that does not end, so the idea of this idea is that it is 12 months and 7 days and the number of days is 30 days as in the figure
Software Design
I used the Fusion 360 program because it was one of the design requirements, and if it was not like that, I would have used it also because in practice, I think that it is the best program in the field of designing products because it works easily and with an interface that is closer to simplicity in its use
Laser work
Software Design
I used the Laserwork program to determine the dimensions of the design that I downloaded from the Internet, and to determine the length of the engraving and the method of cutting it
laserCuter machine
machine
I used an engraving machine to cut out a design that we carefully selected to suit our needs
Wood 3mm
material
We chose Matril wood to carry out the design, and the thickness of the wood was 3 M
Ultimaker Cura
Software Design
We have chosen the ultimaker cura program in order to make slices for the design, choose the dimensions needed for printing, and specify the printing machine and the material to be printed with.
Pursa 3D print
machine
We have chosen a 3D printing machine in order to print the design that we made Slice Les on the design program
PLA plastic white.
material
We chose the PLA plastic material and the black color was
In the beginning, I designed only two faces, then made a pattern on each face of them, and after that I entered them into the project as a compound and I repeated them to 8 faces
Hence we extruded about 3mm thick
And here I inserted them into the project as a compound and repeated them to 8 faces and made the cover for the upper face as you can see and a piece at the bottom that connects them to each other
I made a join for each part as you can see and decided to process the rest of the parts
Here I made a cover for each of them on the top face as you can see And I repeated the Join process for each new part that is added so that they are cohesive with each other
And here I put them together as you can see on the bottom piece And I repeated the Join process for each new part that is added so that they are cohesive with each other
As for this part of the project, I chose to do a daily calendar in an external project, and then take a copy from it in the project, so that if a failure occurs in the project, it does not fail as a whole, but rather it is linked to each part. And I repeated the Join process for each new part that is added so that they are cohesive with each other
I made a join for each part as you can see and decided to process the rest of the parts
I made the arm design for the bracket connector on Fusion 360 and I was keen to make the design complete as fully defined
Hence we extruded about 3mm thick
Then I made a hole 5 mm from the end of the piece and 3 mm in diameter so that it had a nail. The hole was repeated on the other side of the piece
We can go back to the first week to see how the printing machines used to print the designs
in 2D fabricating
I have entered the file that I designed into the Laserwork program in order to modify the required sizes and modify the parts to be cut, engraved, etc., and I have set the cutting speed and strength so that the cutting is in a professional manner as we can see
in 3D fabricating
I've included the file that I designed on my Ultimaker Cura in order to set the required sizes, set the temperature, the amount of internal filling, and make slices for the design
and the finish you must save the file on Disk to take to a 3D machine to print it
whole save the file don't miss to save as G-code because the machine can understand the file to print it
the challenge
Why am I going to make 8 faces, and on all of them I draw a pattern, because that will cost time and effort
the solution
So I learned in programming to create an object and use it in many similar operations. I made two faces, one the right and the left, and the other the front and the back, and each of them has a pattern, then I repeated them 8 times, and so I finished
So, as you can see, I make every form as a compound outside, then I make an import of the file inside the project to save time and effort, then I make a duplicate of the file inside the project, and so if I modify one file, the modification will control the rest of the files without the need to modify them all

The skills and knowledge revolved around solving problems also at the point of programming and dimensions of forms and how to miss time and reduce effort
