The idea of the project is to Design a model of a pen and pencil holder . it consists of multiple 2.5D parts (at least three) and assemble. Fabricate the 2.5D parts using Laser Cutting
Design the joints using Fusion 360 and fabricate it using 3D Printing (Only if you decide to use a bracket with captive nut)
I inspired the final design from these pictures.

Design of the Pen holder on fusion 360
Side 1,2 sketch
1nd part: side
i draw side and make (T-slot,taps )
then dublicat it to make the face in front of him
make it fully defined
2nd part: back side
draw it and draw Arc at center with three point
then trim extra lines
Make Arc is fixed and another lines defiend from origin
make it fully defined
3nd part: Front side
draw it and draw Hexagonal shape
then choose create >rectangle pattern
make it fully defined
4nd part: Bottom side
draw it and draw taps
make it fully defined
Extrude of the pen holder
I selected the shape then removed the parts that won't be extruded. The extrusion is set to be 3mm

Before Cutting , I opened the program illustrator and wrote this word on it, then I converted it to Vector, then export it as dxf
1- Import file on RDwork it must be *.DXF format
2-Import file (word.dxf)
3- change Properties
cut ( Black)
speed 35 - power 60-65
Scan ( Red)
speed 300 - power 30
4- finally download ,The laptop must be connected to a machine
prepare files on RDWork

I saved the .dfx file on my usb , After that, I inserted the sheet of wood into the laser cutting bed, adjusted the origin and focus, followed the rest of the instructions, and began cutting.

The project has a lot to do with the final project because it taught me a lot of skills that I will use when I work on the final project, now i know how design product of many parts and fitting them together

on that week we have Activity to To implement task as a group of 3 , my group was with Mohamed and Abdelrahman
the Activity was:
Design, fabricate, and assemble a Lantern that has 4 sides, top, and bottom.
Then we take extra session menna talk about Rasine and how to us it , and Each of us made his own medal and domain
