Designing FRAME OF GLASSES
sketch the design on paper first with dimensions.
I draw circle with DM 60 mm.
draw another circle wit DM 40mm inside the first one.
draw a line that is far from center 37 mm to make a mirror after designing a part of the frame.
make 2 line to make triangle
use tangent feature from constraints to define the lines.
use mirror feature
put a point in between the line and use vertical/horizontal feature from constrains the make the point // the center of the circle.
make a small circle its center is the pervious point we made.
then we made 2 lines to create bow.
then we use mirror feature to complete the bow.
then we remove any interaction lines by using trim feature.
that is the final result. then we finish sketch.
Design of Glasses main part on Fusion 360
then we use extrude feature

Designing Hand of the glasses
sketch the design on paper first with dimensions.
we draw a line with DM100 mm and a line 40 mm from the end point of the previous one.
then offset with DM 10 mm.
then to make nice shape we use fillet feature from modify.
then we make some rectangle inside the shape.
finally we make extrude feature
Design of glasses hand on Fusion 360
Laser Cut
1- save the design As DXF
2- Import DXF design.
3- set the power, speed of laser used (cut means low speed, high power), (scan means high speed, low power). 140 mm, 90 mm
4- prepare the laser cutter to use.
3D Printing
1- save the design as stl
2- open stl design on Ultimate Cura, the design on the program (Resolution, infill, support, adhesion)..
firstly laser cuting, i designed the glasses on Fusion 360 in with full dimensions, then saved the shape as DXF.
then I set it in our intermediate program laser workv6
1- Import DXF design.
2- define the lines (cut or scan).
3- set the power 50, speed of laser 30 used (cut means low speed, high power), (scan means high speed, low power).
4- prepare the laser cutter to use.
5- fix the plywood sheet on laser cutter by Sticky tape.
6- processing (cut, scan).
7- paint the product.
secondly 3D printing, i designed the hand of the glasses on Fusion 360 in with full dimensions, then saved the shape as stl.
I used Ultimate Cura as the main program to prepare the file to be printed in a 3D Printer.
1- open stl design on Ultimate Cura I OPEN IT TWO TIME TO MAKE 2 HANDS FOR THE GLASSES.
2- set the design on the program (Resolution (draft 0.2), infill (15), support (no), adhesion (yes)).
3- I set brim to support the 3d design to be fixed on the surface.
4- then slice to know how much time it consume and how many gram I'll use.
5- fix the color i want to use on 3D printer.
6-download the file, processing.
7- woola i get beautiful
my design on laser workv6, quiltmaker cura
It wasn't a problem but it was difficult to set the nut with nail, it sooo tiny to me.
during midweek session my team face the problem that scaning it doesnt get well because lines over lapped so we used deleting overlap feature.
I Learned how to design any shape on Fusion 360, it is going to help me to design my final project.
