I search on google and I find some designs but it will take so much time, so I watched some videos and I find this design cool and simple.
Fusion 360
it helped me to design the holder easily and efficiently
and the new feature made the fusion more flexible and amazing.
3D printer
because I want to make a 3D shape.
Cura
So that I can slice my design, change the dimensions, infill and profile.
Watch a video and I edited some features to match the requirements of assignments
At the first, I draw a circle, did an offset plane to make another one from the same center after that I made loft to connect them with each others.
I used shell to make a hole in the design, draw this shape on different plane and put it on the shape with emboss after that I repeated it with pattern.
I made the dimensions on the cura smaller than fusion to meet the requirements, made the infill 20 and profile 0.4. It took 25g and an hour, and 36min. without support because the design did not need it.
Used PLA material.
Editing the parameters to fit the requirements, put the design on SD card, preheating the machine and start printing.
In my assignment at first, I did my design with extruding only but when I was talking my peers suggested doing it with loft, because the extrude only will not go work.
In the EO week session, I did not know how to add this face.
Eman helped me to do it when we worked together, and we help each other in the design which we suggest different ideas for drawing the sketch.
I stuck with the time of printing because it took so much time
but I change some dimensions, infill, and profile to meet the requirements.
After the videos and knowloadge of the week, I get familier with fusion and cura more than before and I think I can design any shape or design I think of it, So this will help me in my final project and make it in a professional way.
Also I learned how to think about the final projects as a material and what material I should use to be more effiecient.
