The assignment idea is to design and fabricate a pen & pencil holder by using Fusion 360 and print it using the 3D Printer.
I wanted to do something special for this project, so I chose the wooden barrel inspired by games.

1st part
1st part:
I got the dimensions for the design after measuring the pencil tall size to make sure of base stability.
I made a centerline as a construction line. make an arch as 3 points then make ( 2 ) offset to make the sketch of the outer metal frame.
Revolved the shape at 360 degrees.
2nd part:
Made the base by adding a new sketch with a 70mm circle on the barrel side.
Made a centerline, then make offset twice 0.2mm each (one on its right and the other on left).
Extrude then circle pattern (16 Pieces)
Made combine (cut).
Extruded the outer metal frame.
Extruded the base (-3 mm) inside.
Moved the Base (10mm) inside.
2nd part
3rd part
3rd part:
Made Offset Plane (50mm) above the base and made a circle with Extrude (3mm).
on the same circle, I draw (4) other small circles with (12mm) by the circular pattern feature.
Extruded these small circles to cut from the main support.
as the upcoming capture images show the remains of the process.
Fusion360 (Program)
I exported the Project as ( .stl)
Ultimaker Cura (Program)
I opened and sliced the project then save to the SD card and its ready for print
PROBLEM: I can't save the project as (.stl)
I tried to check for a solution in #Community-troubleshooting and knew that I should choose (save as Mesh) then change the format to (.stl) from the opened window.
When I sketched the design of this project in my mind it was hard for me to make the pen stable in the holder without falling, then I decided to make support under the middle of the Parrel to make it some heavy, also make the small circles in it just (12mm) to make sure that the pen will be more vertical and won't fall.

After making this project, the interface of Fusion 360 became clearer and I'm sure after more practice, it will be easy to design any idea that helps to make my project more effective and lower budget as my final project consists of 3D Printed parties.
The coolest thing I have learned this week is that I will get an answer for most things by focusing on searching for them in the right way.

LEGO Minifigure Challenge
It was challenge really for me to complete this design
