I searched for simple electronics project and I found many great ideas, but I found the emergency alarm an easy, important, and an effective one.
TinkerCAD
I used AutoDesk TinkerCAD to design my circuit and also to simulate it before making it in real life.
I used some components from my electronics kit (Buzzer, LED, Resistor, Breadboard, and the power adapter).
I started by placing all the necessary components on the breadboard. I then started connecting everything together so that they are optimally connected in parallel as follows:
The +ve and -ve terminals of the power supply (5V) to the breadboard rails.
One terminal of the switch to 5V.
The COMMON terminal of the switch to both the +ve terminals of the Buzzer and the LED.
One terminal of the resistor (330 Ohms) to the -ve terminal of the LED, and the other terminal to the GND.
The -ve terminal of the Buzzer to the GND.
Simulation Video
I built the circuit exactly as I followed the diagram on TinkerCAD.
Hopefully, everything worked as planned.
I used scissors, cutter, and hot glue gun to bring the enclosure to life.
After this, I started cutting the cardboard pieces and made holes that fit the LED and switch.
It was hard for me to fit the slide switch and the LED into the cartoon, so I used hot glue to be able to fix them right. And it was easy to get the wax off of them anyways.
Title of Media
In my final project, there will be different electronic components and a lot of connections. So I think that those first steps will later help a lot.
