1- choose the XY plane to draw the top and bottom faces
2- the top face and the bottom are the same then I draw a rectangle in the top face to be the place of inserting the mobile phone the put two tap slots and skrew hole between them then extrude these two faces 3 mm as new component
3- sketch two sides in the XZ plane for the holder each side has two taps and a T-slot between them in the upper edge and also lower edge then extrude sketch 3mm as new component
4- sketch front and back by faces in the YZ plane by the same method of drawing sides and using the same assembling method and extrude it 3mm as new components
5- draw the bridge parts which are responsible for holding the phone inside the amplifying box and consist of three parts two of them are parallel to the phone hole in the top face and the third is perpendicular to them and they are fixed using 4 skrew holes
designing time line
1- 1- sketch all parts of the mobile stand
2- save each sketch as a DXF file to be opened via laser works v6
3- import each part to laser works to make only one file to be cut once on the laser cutter
4- creat an RLD file then cut it on laser cutter machine
1- the plywood sheet was not flat so it affects the focus of the lens of the machine so some parts are not fully cut however I fixed the sheet with tape
2- there were some errors in my design in just millimeters which made the assembling process very hard and with some adjustments
3- I had a problem with how to make the phone stand in my design
