The project is a mechanical clock that changes the time by shifting gears via motors.
Through this clock, we can know the time and see the number of clock changes in mechanical movement.
This clock gives an aesthetic shape and offers some features to the user like knowing the date, the temperature, emergency light, and other features I will take about it in the features section.
I care about this project because I will many of the features in this clock and will use various components, that will help me learn a lot of things in one project.
I saw a video on instructables for a similar clock, but I want to make another design and add some features to it.
The project idea is a clock, this clock changes its time via gears and motors and I will turn it into a smart device that interacts with the user.
The general features of the project:
1-I Will add a touch screen to display some information to the user and interact with him.
The operation that will appear on the screen /
The clock will display the temperature on the screen.
The clock will display the date and time on the screen.
The clock will display the name of the day and month on the screen.
A welcome sentence will be displayed on the screen.
2-We will add speakers to the clock to do three things /
first, to make a sound like an alarm every hour passes.
Second, it will turn on the call to prayer to remind you of prayer times.
Third, it will turn on music and songs that the user choose through the touch screen.
3-We will use an LDR resistor to make a light night.
4-Through some electronic components we will make an emergency light for lighting during a power outage.
5- We will use a remote control to control the volume while playing music.
Construction Parts
The body of the clock will be made by a laser cutting machine.
The gears of the clock will be made by 3D printing.

The clock will sense three things/
1- will sense the temperature.
2-will sense the intensity of light.
3-will sense the presence of electric current or interruption.

The input of the user will be through a touch screen to make the experience easier or through keypad.

The graphical input will be displayed through a touch screen.

The Physical action:
The gears will change the time via motors and I will control the motion of gears throurh Arduino.

I will use the Arduino board as a brain of a clock.
