Mobile holder
I want to make mobile holder from wood 3 mm thickness with T slot , I made first prototype with card board then draw the design by Fusion 360 , and will cut it by laser cutting machine.
Tool Chain
Which software/machines/materials did you use in the assignment? Why?
MT3050D CO2 Laser cutting machine.
Material: 3mm plywood.
Software: LaserWork.

Design/Preparation Process
Explain the design and/or preparation process of your assignment. How did you use the tool or software to design and/or prepare your assignment before fabrication/implementation?

I started to draw side view by Auto desk Fusion 360 , then will draw all joints , the other side and the base
continuing draw the side view , draw the T slot and open with rectangle shape in the bottom side , then draw construction line and mirror the side view but modify it and make the rectangle open on the up side .
after drawing the two sides ,extrude them . then draw the base with Diagonal ending and two circle for the T slot bolt , and extrude the base
After extrude all the parts of mobile holder , I assemble the two sides , but the base was very hard to assemble the T slot with the bolt circle , so I make it with sense
Then I save the sketches of all the parts for mobile holder with .dxf extension to prepare it for cutting laser

Development/Implementation Process
Explain the development/implementation process of your assignment. How did you use the machine/tool to manufacture or implement the design of your assignment?
open the dxf file on LaseWorkV6 , then rotate the parts to achieve the perfect use of wood without wastage , put the part I want to cut with speed 18 -power 70 , and the parts I want engraved with speed 200 -power 70 , then press download button
Then I go to the laser cutting machine , check the track and run the file , the machine start to cut , after it finish , I collect the parts and put the bolt to connect the base with two sides , put the mobile and test the final product.

After I finish the file and save it dxf , it didn't open on the laserwork v6 like this screen shot , so I asked for help on Slack , and have alot of sloution but I couldn't have the time to try it , I want to go to the lap because of my time for cutting , there Amr helped me with this problem to press "Import instead of Open" m and it is finally open , after I finish and go home I find on Slack somebody suggest the same solution

Another problem I have faced this week , that I didn't have stability Internet in home , so I couldn't set up the Autodesk Fusion 360 on Laptop . so when I go on Saturday our instructors Ahmed and Amany helped me , Ahmed give me his laptop to do the task of the session , Amany tell me to stay after the session to set up the program and don't be suspended , It was very helpful for me , make it easy to do the tasks of the week.
Final Project
How can you use the skills and knowledge that you've acquired this week in your final project?

I think getting familiar with laser cutting machine and LaserWorkV6 program , practice more with Autodesk Fusion 360 program , know hoe to draw T slot and make the circle open for the bolt , all of this steps will help me in final project.

What is the coolest thing that you've learned this week? What is something that you will never forget from this week?
we make a model of miniature Rocking Chair using Fusion 360 and fabricate it using Laser Cutter , we are team of three girls me , Mai and Sara .and it the first time to do that , every one of us take piece of chair draw it , they are very funny group and enjoy working with them .
The thing I will never forget , that assemble step is very important before fabricating your work , we didn't have time to assemble the chair so we had a little mistake in side part to connect it with the back of chair .

we have task in online session to draw Fidget Spinner Sketch using Fusion 360 with Ahmed Goneem in team , I think playing as navigator was very helpful skill to me , In offline session to be as driver and switch role , it is very useful .
