portable fan
It's a portable mini fan and night light, I like reading before sleeping so it will be very useful to me. I got inspired by this video:
paper, pencil, scissors and colored paper.
tinker cad online program tinkercad
cardboard
power supply 9 volt
regulator 5v
mini fan
bulb
small bread board
jumpers (male -male & male - female)
crocodile wires
on/off switch
cardboard
scissor
9v power supply
5v regulator for the mini fan
Tinkercad online simulator
mini breadboard
male-male jumbers
male-female
crocodile wires
on/off switch
fan
bulb
I used tinker cad website "online simulator program" to make simulation for the circuit to make sure from the connection to avoid damaging of the components.
1-I connected the positive of the power supply to a point in the breadboard and the negative to another point.
2-I connected regulator in series with the fan also push button in series with the bulb and all the connection(regulator and fan-push button and bulb) was in parallel.
3-I connected the positive of the power supply yo the input of the regulator, the ground of the regulator to the negative, the output of the regulator to the input of the fan and the output of the fan to the negative of the power supply.
4-I connected the push button to the positive of the power supply, the other terminal of the button to the bulb and the negative of the bulb to the negative of the power supply.
after the design on tinkercad, I connect the circuit by hand before using cardboard for more sure that all connections are correct
I used the cardboard for enclosure and made slots for bulb, fan , on/off switch and power supply

I have outputs: the fan and the bulb
-the fan needs 5v
-the bulb is up to 12v
so, I first made the circuit with 5v power supply but the light of the bulb wasn't good
In order to overcome it, my instructor Sherif advised me to use the 9v power supply to all the circuit and 5v regulator for the fan to reduce the volt from 9 to 5 and the light of the bulb became good!
using regulator
This week I learned how to connect things together using wires but I think the most useful thing for the final project is how to use different breadboards.

The coolest thing was the avometer using for measuring voltage, current and resistors and that was very useful in measuring volatage in the wires.
The thing I will never forget is the regulator for reducing volt.

This week was very fantastic week!
In EOW session we worked in groups and each group made a car and after finishing we made a funny competition!😂
