Didn't have an idea for unique design, so i google it
and this stand give me inspiration of a multi angle phone stand that could used in both landscape & portrait
then i began to design it myself using fusion 360🤜🤛
Fusion 360 to do all the 2.5 design and assemble it
adobe illustrator to export .svg design to engrave it
Laser cad for review send design to machine
Sheet of plywood
Laser cutter machine to cut and engrave plywood
Started doing a sketch with 2 rectangle, then create the 4 angels and the joints (mirror the rectangles and make the circle exactly in middle of them) and doing the round edges with fillet tool.
For the base with just a rectangle, make the joint and 2 lines that I used them to mirror, then mirror them to each side
extrude the parts and make a joints to assemble them
make sure that all good and parts fit together perfectly
then I decide to put some Mandela pattern to make it more artistic
imported it from illustrator in .svg extension and cut it out from original design
and voilààà
test it in laser cad before take it to laser machine
Cut in 20 speed & 70 power
Engrave in 300 speed & 50 power
then cut it on laser machine
Finally I assembled it with 3mm nut and screws
and here we are all good✌️
I want to make it cut & engrave from sides with this Mandela pattern
🤩
🤨
but i end with this
so i will try another technique and update it, hope it will done the job
So I returned again to the original design , fix some points to lock them and review the Mandela shape deeply
the problem was the trim parts was leave an open curves that must be snap together like wilding option in illustrator and coral , so I connect points together to close the curves together
With it's big size it can hold my note easily and most of tablets out there, also you can use it for writing on your device using stylus and lay it down to take a break 😎✌️
