Iron Man Shooting 3D Design
Iron Man on wall design
I love science fiction movies So I have chosen Iron Man to be the make of this week .
For 3D I have used Cura to slice the STL design and Pursa I3 Mk2 3D Printer to print the design .
Cura is an easy to use software and the pursa I3 MK2 was the one available in the lap and it is pretty easy to use it .
I have used PLA to print the design with a red color .
For the Lazer Cut design I have used Lazer works software to send it to machine

Iron Man with supports added
For 3D Print design , I have download the stl design from the internet and the design for the iron man was kind of complicated because the arm needed a lot of supports when trying to slice it using cura , so I have add an extensin to cura called "custom support" and added supports to the hand as shown in the image .
For Laser Cutting :
I have Imported the dxf file to laserworkv6 program .
I have enlarged the size to be much bigger using arrows .
all the design was cut , so it was pretty easy I have chosen the power to be 65 and speed to be 20 .
For 3D Printing :
I have download the STL design from the internet
Imported the design to CURA .
The design was iron man was having a lot of supports so I had to create the supports manually , I have download an extension for cura from the store called "Custom Support"
I have added supports to the hand of iron man using the the custom support extension .
I have done the slicing using cura and made sure that the slices of the design would be on top of each other .

I have used searing on google and I have found a video on youtube explaining the exact idea I have with adding supports to it .

Manual supports for Iron Man
I will be using laser cutter to design the body of my final project idea .
The coolest thing in this week is using the tools and fabricating the designs we seen on the laptops .
