I currently serve as the sports editor for the Shelby County Reporter in the Birmingham, Alabama metro area, where I cover 16 high schools, one college and a professional sports team while editing sports coverage for three weekly print products and managing a diverse team of freelance writers and photographers. I am also a member of the broadcast services production crew for Samford Athletics on ESPN+ and production runner for NBC Sports and FOX Sports.
My work has appeared in print or broadcast with GiveMeSport in the U.K., The Cedar Rapids Gazette, The Local, The Samford Crimson, Samford News Network and the Bulldog Blitz. This site is a collection of my work that shows the type of reporter that I am: a reporter who is passionate for sports and capable of delivering hard-hitting news stories, and one who strives to tell the most engaging stories, get the facts right and bring the audience closer to the subject in a fair and honest style.
