While there, I attended Field Medical Training Battalion, where I learned Marine Corps operations and earned my qualification to be a part of the “greenside” medical team (working with the Marine Corps). I grew up in Tucson, A. Shortly after graduating from the University of Arizona I decide to join the Coast Guard. I decided on the Coast Guard for the life saving and law enforcement mission. Being able to give back to my community while also traveling the world has been an amazing career. I have spent the last 20 years specializing in counter narcotics and counter terrorism. As a federal law enforcement agency within Homeland Security, the Coast Guard is responsible for all maritime interdiction operations. With around 40,000 members nationwide, the Coast Guard is a second family.
I currently live in Camas, WA with my wife and two kids. During my time off I like to ride dirt bikes, and coach football and soccer for my kids.
