Summer                 Edit, rewrite, create second draft (Thesis, Outline, up to 4,000 words)

Senior Year

1st day of School     Second Rough Draft Submitted to Supervisor (4,000-word draft)

By Sept 27th            Mandatory Reflection Session #2 with Supervisor

November 22nd       Final Copy Due

By Dec 11th         Mandatory Reflection Session #3 with Supervisor

What resources do I need?

For an overview of the Extended Essay, consult this presentation.  Essential resources for the process:

2. Citation Resource

3. Subject Specific Requirements: provide the key rules for your selected IB subject for the EE

4. EE Subject Reports: provide subject specific suggestions on how to improve based on past student performance around the world.  In addition, the subject reports identify the most common mistakes students make in a particular subject area.

5. Graded Student samples below : do NOT a)Use samples from the internet, as they may be out of date or b) model your EE after the samples below
