Exam Conflict Survey

Providing your name, your list of activities, and the IB subject exams you intend to sit for this coming May arms your coaches and the IB Coordinator by identifying students who may have potential IB Exam/OSAA sports or music activity conflicts. By collecting this information, South High does not guarantee that South can eliminate all conflicts. Availability of facilities and logistics of coordinating with other schools does impact South’s flexibility of moving district/state music and sports activities. Again, South cannot solve a conflict by moving the date, time, or location of an IB subject exam.
In the event that a district, state, music or sports competition cannot be moved, a student will need to decide which commitment they want to fulfill.
Regional and State Competitions
IB exams occur in the same month as many music and athletic competitions. Coaches and administrators will do their best to request compatible competition times, however we cannot re-schedule IB exams nor will refunds be issued for missed exams.
International Competitions
IB exams occur in the same month as many international competitions. However, the IBO will only allow FULL DIPLOMA candidates to take their exams at alternate venue and an additional fee is charged. Please notify Mrs. Harris-Clippinger in writing of any international competitions you are involved in.
