Through my Art Immersion class, I developed multiple forms of creative expression as I learned alongside an array of professionals in the community as well as leadership as a TA. This page shows how I developed new, artistic ideas and interpreted, presented, and shared artistic work. It also illustrates my understanding of how the arts convey meaning and my ability to connect artistic work with personal meaning and external context.
We learned about the workings of a camera, angles, and composition. The first step was to find a muse. After that, we studied positioning and creative framing/editing. We then produced a final product without groups.
The work itself lead to constructive critisism and teamwork. Two diffrent creative brains working in harmony.
This final product is a combinations of those two brains. The work is a diagram of how we work as a team and how we can grow as people.
As a class, we all pitched in to make a 10ft+ elf for Spencer Winterfest. We got to work sewing, calculating, and building.
While building this massive puppet, we learned that not all tasks could be done without the whole class. Not only did we succeed in the product, but I also got to see the things that the freshmen learned.
As the teacher's assistant, I was taught how to keep up with the kids as well as get the base set up. I pushed them to do better and they pushed me to take new creative routes.
