Work Experience

Dominos Pizza

Sophomore, Junior 

I was employed at Dominos from May 2023 to June 2024. I initially began working the counter, making bread products, and performing small cleaning tasks. I eventually worked my way up to the makeline and oven where I would make food products or take them out of the oven and box them. I left due to personal illness. 

North Carolina Transportation Museum

Sophomore, Junior 

I worked seasonally at the North Carolina Transportation Museum. I have been a line steward for the Polar Express and dressed up as the Easter bunny for their Easter train ride. 

Bridal Makeup Assistant

Senior

I have been doing makeup artistry for several years and acquired a strong passion for it. I recently was given the opportunity to assist a professional bridal makeup artist with her work. I travel with her to do hair and makeup for weddings several times a month. 

Server at Buffalo Wild Wings

In January 2025 I began my first serving job at Buffalo Wild Wings.

I practice year-round and play on my school team. Freshman year I received the coach’s award, and in Junior and Senior years, I was nominated team captain.

I was on the swim team freshman year. I ended up qualifying for finals. 

Community Service

2nd Saturday Thrift book sale

Freshman, Sophomore, Junior

Once a month on the 2nd Saturday the local library opens their thift bookshop. I sort, label. and shelve books. 

Habitat for Humanity Restore

Junior 

During summer break in 2023, I volunteered with Habitat for Humanity Restore for 2 weeks. 

Docent for the Historic Salisbury Foundation

Junior

At eight years old I was the youngest docent the Historic Salisbury Foundation has had, since then I have volunteered each year I have been available. The Historic Foundation of Salisbury, North Carolina hosts an annual “October Tour", where people tour historic homes across the city.

Junior Civitan Volunteering

Through my school's Junior Civitan club, I have volunteered with local non-profits, The City of Salisbury, and other organizations. 

Freshman Year Volunteering

Through my - class freshman year I accumulated a total of 40 volunteer hours. I volunteered with various organizations in the Winston-Salem area such as GreeNest, Crisis Control, Spark, Parenting PATH, Bless This Family, SECU House, Center for Exceptional Children, and I also helped work on a community garden. 

National Honors Society Volunteering

Once a month I help clean up trash in downtown Salisbury with the NHS.

Theater Tech

Sophomore 

February-March 2023 I volunteered in theater tech for the Norvell Children’s Theatre. I was then invited to run lights for the adult theater, Piedmont Players. I ran the lights for two different productions. 

Pottery class

Sophomore

I enrolled in an 8-week adult pottery class Sophmore year. This was one of my favorite extracurriculars, and I was very proud of my finished pieces.

Junior

I was a part of my school's very first Envirothon team. We competed at the regional Envirothon competition, and I specialized in aquatics.

Elected Junior Class President junior year and then elected Secretary my senior year.

Jr. Civitan Club

I was selected and fundraised for the All in Summit in Birmingham, Alabama. I attended our regional conference in March 2024. I have had significant involvement in the club and have coordinated several service projects. I was Secretary my Junior year and Vice President my Senior Year.

Social Committee

I was the chair of the Social Committee in my junior year. I was in charge of coordinating social events. 

Seminar For Tomorrow's Leaders

Junior 

I was given a scholarship to attend the Seminar For Tomorrows Leaders hosted by Rotary District 7680. 

Assisted With Costume Making for School Play

I was selected to design and coordinate the costume designs for the school's Winnie the Pooh production.
