The Wind Ensemble has performed five times as a part of the Michigan Music Conference and once at the Spring Conference at Western Michigan University. Concert Performance Attire
It is our tradition at Saline High School for instrumental performers to dress in professional black for all concerts and festivals.
Our uniform guides the audience to see us as a cohesive group working towards a common goal; being in a uniform also helps us see each other as teammates.
Our attire reinforces the audience to concentrate on our instruments and our faces. As a group we should take great pride in our appearance and make an impression
worthy of the musical presentation.
Please follow these guidelines for professional attire by selecting an option:
Solid black coats and pants, black bow tie, white collared shirts and black socks and black dress shoes. (No casual shoes, please).
Solid black floor length dress that has sleeves, black dress shoes, black socks or hose.
There are several options for where/how you can get your uniform:
You can order them online. The link and info will be available on the band website in early September.
You can purchase them through various stores as long as they meet the requirements.
If there are financial concerns please contact Nate Lampman for confidential options to fulfill the uniform requirement.
Please have concert uniform purchased and altered by December 1st. Don’t forget to leave time for alterations if necessary.
