Mrs. Mengert

I consider myself to be very blessed to have the opportunity to teach at Salem Lutheran School. This will be my seventeenth year teaching at Salem, and I look forward to building relationships with all of my students and their families. I’d like to share a bit of my life and background with you:

I grew up in Orange and am a graduate of Orange Lutheran High School. I received my B.A. in Liberal Studies at Cal Poly- Pomona and my teaching credential from the University of California, Irvine. After completing my teaching program, I taught in the public school systems locally. I took several years off from the classroom to dedicate myself to being a full-time mom. In 2005, God brought me to Salem where I have had the opportunity to raise my kids and teach for the past eighteen years.

My husband, Bill, and I have five children! We have four college grads, one college students, and two crazy dogs! We are involved in numerous sports and community activities. My favorite activities include: reading, hiking, and traveling!
