Pete the Cat was very kind to Grumpy Toad even though Toad had taken the cupcakes without asking. Pete the Cat had empathy for Grumpy Toad.

Empathy is a skill that anyone can build. But, why is it so important? Watch Mojo and his friends to find out more about empathy.

Mojo and the ClassDojo monsters put on a school musical, but face a big obstacle as Mojo’s ego gets in the way.

Questions from Class Dojo to think about

  1. What feeling words can you use to describe Mojo in this video?

How does Mojo feel and why?

2. What feeling words can you use to describe Katie in this video?

How does Katie feel and why?

Do you think Mojo knew how she was feeling? Why or why not?

3. What would you have done differently if you were Mojo?

In Chapter 2 of “Big Ideas: Empathy,” Mojo learns how he can feel trapped in The Maze by his own emotions.

  2. 2. What is The Maze? And, what happens when we are in The Maze?

  3. Name a time you’ve been in The Maze. What emotions did you feel?
