The focus of my pathway was theology and history. With the help of my advisor Robyn Harless, I explored God’s presence in my life through independent study and an internship in the ELCA Virginia Synod Bishop’s Office with youth coordinator Rev. Dr. Dave Delaney. I was able to help organize several youth events, volunteer with my church, and even write an article for the Virginia Lutheran Newsletter.

One task to check off before a major youth event is testing all of the markers to make sure there are enough for event participants to use. Working behind the scenes gives great insight into little details that keep an event running smoothly.
