Embedded Files
Chromebooks allow for offline access to documents, enabling students to create and update their work when they are without an Internet connection. In order to set this up, students must enable Offline mode on their Chromebook. This will only sync part of your recent files.
Any file that is accessible in Google Drive can be made available for offline use. Directions are shown below.
How to Make Individual Documents Available for Offline Use
Docs/Sheets/Slides
When connected to Internet - Open the app (Docs/Sheets/Slides)
Right click on the file name
Select Available offline
Other Non-Docs/Sheets/Slides
When connected to Internet - Open the Files app
Select Google Drive
Right click on the file name
Select Available Offline
